A 27-year-old man was killed on New Year’s Day in Owings Mills when his car left the road and struck a retaining wall.
Jamal Wright, who lived in the Owings Mills area, was pronounced dead at a local hospital, according to a Baltimore County Police Department news release.
The accident took place at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday when Wright was driving on Owings Mills Boulevard just south of I-795.
The release said it’s not known why the 2013 Ford Explorer left the road and struck the retaining wall.
Detectives are investigating the cause of the crash.
