Washington (DC News Now) –This week marks the 23rd anniversary of September 11th.
23 years ago, terrorists hijacked four planes crashing two into the north and south towers of the World Trade Center. A third struck the Pentagon. Passengers on the hijacked fourth plane fought back, forcing the terrorists to rash, in Somerset County, Pennsylvania.
Returning to Capitol Review is John Byrnes. He is the strategic director for Concerned Veterans for America. He is a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and Army National Guard. Byrnes was in New York City on September 11th. He served at Ground Zero for the first two weeks after the attacks.
