ARLINGTON COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Two people were seriously injured and lanes were closed after a crash in Arlington on Saturday night.
In a post on X at 6:14 p.m., the Arlington County Fire Department said crews were on the scene of a crash on Interstate 395 north in the area of Exit 8C and that lanes were closed as they worked on “extrication.”
In an update shortly after, the department said that the extrication was complete and that responders were taking two people, one with critical injuries and one with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, to area hospitals.
As of 6:20 p.m., crews were working to clear the scene.
