MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Two people were displaced by a house fire in Silver Spring on Sunday evening.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) crews were dispatched to the 17000 block of Barn Ridge Drive at around 5 p.m. Firefighters found a garage on fire in the area.
Two adults and four pets were helped out of the home, and are now displaced.
Crews put out the fire by 6 p.m. No one was hurt, MCFRS officials confirmed.
About 50 MCFRS firefighters responded to the scene.
