Two men were arrested after surveillance video captured them ransacking an Ulta Beauty store in Corona and escaping with thousands of dollars worth of merchandise.

On April 15, the suspects were seen casually walking into the store at 12:50 p.m. and grabbing shopping bags at the entrance.

They begin grabbing handfuls of beauty products off display shelves and stuffing them into the large tote bags. Police said the men took over $5,000 worth of beauty products.

Once the bags were filled, they walked out of the store without paying for the merchandise, police said. A witness captured a partial license plate number of the suspect’s vehicle before they fled.

Corona police notified the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office of the fleeing suspects. Their car was later spotted by deputies in Moreno Valley.

They pulled the suspects over and found three people inside the vehicle. Two of the men were identified as the ones involved in the Ulta theft.

They were taken into custody and the stolen merchandise was returned to the retailer. No further details, including the suspects’ identities, were released.

Footage of the theft can be seen in the video player above.
