Two males were hospitalized following an off-campus stabbing early Saturday morning in Towson, according to authorities.
Officials said on Saturday around 12:40 a.m., the Towson University Police Department became aware of an off-campus stabbing that occurred at 11 East Chesapeake Ave. near York Road.
A TU Safety Advisory was sent out to the community regarding this incident, stating, “TU Safety Advisories are posted to notify the Towson University community of on- or off-campus incidents which may cause concern.”
Baltimore County police responded to the location.
When officers arrived, officials said they found two male victims suffering from several non-life-threatening lacerations. Both victims were taken to local hospitals, according to police.
Police said this incident was a targeted attack as a result of a fight between two people. Police noted that one of the two injured was attempting to separate the two involved parties when he sustained a minor laceration.
There is no immediate danger to the public, officials said.
One male suspect with long hair in a ponytail, wearing all black clothing, is believed to have left the area in an unknown direction, according to Towson University police.
