Two theft suspects were arrested after allegedly using stolen credit cards to go on a shopping spree in Orange County.

The suspects were identified as Tiziana Olivares Bruna, 42, and JeanPierre Olivares, 38, both citizens of Chile.

On May 25, Irvine police received reports of a vehicle burglary at the Bommer Canyon Trailhead, where the suspects escaped with a victim’s credit cards.

The duo used the stolen cards to go on a shopping spree at the Irvine Spectrum Center mall where they made purchases at Apple, Sephora and Lululemon stores, police said.

They fled the scene and mall security provided police with surveillance images that captured the license plate of their getaway car.

They were eventually located in Dana Point and taken into custody. Police found the stolen merchandise along with a signal jammer, lock punches and a change of clothing to alter their appearance.

The pair was arrested and charged with burglary, receiving stolen property, forgery, conspiracy, possession of burglary tools, and theft of access cards.
