An 18-year-old man was stabbed in the back Friday night at a Loop store after an argument turned into a fight, Chicago police said.
About 8:45 p.m., the victim was inside a store in the 100 block of North State Street when he was involved in an argument with a group of people. The argument became physical when one of them used a knife and stabbed the victim in the back, police said.
The group fled the scene, and the victim was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he was listed in fair condition, police said.
No one was in custody, and detectives are investigating.
