WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — D.C. police are investigating after a 17-year-old boy was shot in Southeast on Saturday.
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) told DC News Now that at around 2:25 p.m., officers responded to the 2600 block of Stanton Road for a shooting.
There, they found a 17-year-old boy who had been shot. He was conscious and breathing.
Medics took the boy to a local hospital for treatment.
As of Saturday afternoon, police were searching for a man in connection to the shooting, who was last seen wearing a blue Canada Goose jacket and blue jeans.
