One student was killed and two others were hospitalized after a stabbing attack outside Santa Ana High School Wednesday afternoon.
Santa Ana police responded to the incident at around 3:25 p.m. All victims appear to be students at Santa Ana High.
One person was taken to the hospital in critical condition and two others were transported in stable condition. Police later confirmed the student in critical condition passed away from their injuries.
That deadly attack occurred right outside the high school’s entrance.
The suspects, who police described as Hispanic males who are also likely students, fled the scene and remain at large. A perimeter was set up in the area as officers searched for the teens. Police did not confirm how many suspects may be involved.
Details are limited and it’s unclear what led up to the deadly altercation. The victims’ identities have not been released.
