WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Firefighters responded to an apartment in Southeast D.C. that caught on fire Sunday evening.
DC Fire and EMS said a fire broke out at a 2-story apartment building in the 100 block of 53rd St.
The fire was inside an apartment unit on the first floor.
One person was hurt and was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Fire investigators responded to the scene.
One person is being displaced.
