A shooting outside of a dog park in Venice on Wednesday night left one person dead, according to authorities.
The Los Angeles Police Department said the shooting occurred at about 10:30 p.m. at Westminster Dog Park on the 1200 block of Pacific Avenue.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. As of Thursday morning, he remains unidentified.
The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived. No description has been made available as of Thursday morning.
