A person died on Saturday after crashing a vehicle into a tree in Jurupa Valley, authorities said.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to reports of a crash at about 8:39 p.m. in the area of Riverview Drive and Rios Road.
Upon arrival, deputies found that a the driver of a vehicle crashed into a tree.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. They haven’t been identified publicly as of Sunday morning.
No additional details were immediately made available. It wasn’t yet clear if speed, drugs or alcohol were a factor.
